National Walk to Work Day
“Walking is the best possible exercise. Habituate yourself to walk very far.”
Walk to Work Day is a chance to change up your routine, add a little more time to it, and see how a slower start to your day can lead to a more efficient life overall.
Walking helps to clear the mind, burn calories and get our heart pumping. Doing this before work can encourage and influence us to eat healthier throughout the day.
Keeping this in mind, Bal Bhavan International School had organized a “Walkathon” for the students of class VIII to spread awareness through an action plan that was thoroughly enjoyed by them. Feathers segment students took an initiative to inspire people to include walk in their mundane and the students marched forward to the City Centre and Metro station along with the teachers and promoted the same with motivating banners.
