Yashpal Sharma, is an eminent name and a renowned personality in Bollywood and in the World of Theatre. Born and brought up in Haryana, he graduated from National School Of Drama and later joined the National School of Drama Repertory Company in Delhi, where he worked for about two years before moving to Mumbai in 1997. Since then he has appeared in a number of positive as well as negative roles and has left an indelible mark on the minds of audience with each act he played. His finer nuances of acting are acclaimed and are sought after for intense roles. Be it, Films, Short Films, Television, Theatre, Web series or a Documentary, Yashpal Ji has garnered applauds and appreciations everywhere. He is currently engaged in turning to film direction with a biopic on Haryanvi poet Pandit Lakshmi Chand, which he has written as well. He is also a stage actor and appears in live plays. His Haryanvi film Pagdi: The Honour was awarded at the 62nd National Film Awards.
