Gandhi Jayanti is an occasion to celebrate the life of “The Mahatma”, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi aka Bapu ji. The 152nd anniversary of the Father of the Nation was celebrated by the students of the school with a morning Virtual Assembly. The life and the principles of Gandhi Ji were beautifully depicted through a skit presentation. There also were recitals talking about this noble soul who played a pivotal role in India’s struggle for Independence. Bapu ji believed in the power of Ahimsa- the spirit of Non-violence. Thus his birth day is marked as International Day of Non-violence. The students made posters and wrote slogans to spread the message of truth and peace. It was the day to proudly proclaim; Let there be, “Humanity above all”.
