Each and every child is blessed with innate abilities and talents; and these must be discovered, fostered and developed. The role of a teacher is that of a facilitator who takes care of developmental needs and interests of the learner. Paving way for the transformational reforms we have come up with new National Education Policy 2020 with an aim to make the current Education system holistic, flexible and multi-disciplinary. It is important for the educators and the teachers to understand the significance and the features of this policy. Therefore in association with CBSE, a Capacity Building Program was conducted in the school premises. The resource person for the day was Dr Bhavna Chibber, Principal, Laburnum Public School Gurugram. The teachers from class III to VIII attended the one day program and learnt about the structural formation of the National Education Policy along with its application and impact. Indeed, it was a day of insightful learning through engaging activities, role plays and discussions.
