“Let’s all celebrate the festival of Lights with Gleam of Diyas and with echo of the prayers, and not with fumes and crackers. Deepawali is the festival that carries the message of good luck, prosperity, and happiness to all. But in recent times it has become synonym to bursting of crackers thus adding to environmental degradation. The cabinet members of Bal Bhavan International School took unto themselves to spread the good word about Happy and Green Diwali. A video presentation and PPT was made highlighting the need for eco friendly celebrations. The members virtually visited all the classes across the school and sensitized the students about ill effects of buying and bursting the crackers. Alternative ideas about having green, clean and safe Diwali were also discussed with the students. The campaign proclaimed the message of “Lets give joy of light to NATURE”.
