Lohri and Makar Sankranti at BBIS

Festivals are a source of heavenly light, if meant for light it's brighter than bright…..

Lohri and Makar Sankranti are festivals which usher in the joyous spring. The auspicious day started with a morning special assembly. The assembly was meticulously conducted through spectacular performances by the students. Afterwards a number of fun-filled activities were organized for classes Toddler to VIII. The little ones participated in Patang Karigari and showcased their innovative and artistic sides. Class I and II students were beautifully dressed in Punjabi attire and had a class party. Students of classes III and IV did bonfire craft and mask making. Students from classes V-VIII made vibrant and glittering kites and wrote their wishes/messages to soar up into the Heavenly Skies. The mood was upbeat and the children actively immersed in the festive spirit. Festivals such as these are celebrated with exuberance and help to spread good cheer and are welcomed by one and all.
