World Food Day

Buy what you need, eat what you buy, protect your food from farm to plate, share it but never trash it…

Food is not merely a material pleasure. It contributes in boosting our morale and adding happiness to our lives. It’s not only about nutrients and calories. It’s about sharing, it’s about honesty and it’s about identity. The theme for this year’s World Food Day is, “Safe Food now for a Healthy Tomorrow”. To spread the awareness and to commemorate the day; Care and Share Club of the school organized and conducted activities like Role Play, Slogan Writing, Poster Making and Poem Recitals. There also was an engaging research based activity wherein section wise allocation was made and students explored the diverse food cultures prevalent in the world. There also was a video based presentation shown to the students that talked about securing food from farm to plate and not to indulge in food wastage.

Respect for Food is respect for Life: Happy World Food Day!
