World Food Day

This World Food Day let us Leave No One Behind

Together we need to build a sustainable world where everyone –everywhere has access to food; and for this sensitization and awareness has to start early. This day was commemorated and celebrated in the school through myriad meaningful and planned activities. Students of primary classes participated in “My State on my Plate” and “What’s on my Plate”. There was a discussion on varied methods of cooking the food and presentation of delicacies from various states of India. There was a rally taken out in the corridors of the school with slogans raised on importance of nutritious and healthy food choices and zero food wastage. In sync with the theme for the year, children of the school voluntarily contributed and collected food items which were further distributed amongst NGO’s by Care and Share Club of the school.  The day was also a message for all that we have to respect Food and the blessings of health that come along with it.
