World Mental Health Day

It’s time to talk, it’s time to change. Your mental health is a priority, Your happiness is essential and your self-care is a necessity.

World Mental Health day is dedicated to raising awareness about mental health issues. The pandemic has led to closure of schools, online classes and restrictions on outdoor activities, which has led to anxiety and stress among many students. The ministry of education has undertaken ‘Manodarpan’ initiative for helping students with mental health issues. Under the guidelines of CBSE, varied activities were conducted virtually for the students of the school.  'It's ok to feel your feelings’, ‘I show my kindness to others by…..’ and poster making. The students took pledge to support the cause by making and wearing green ribbon. An interaction between students and teachers through a presentation took place during the online classes to emphasise on the issue of significance of mental well-being in this contemporary world and the necessity to talk about it.

This was the day to say, “Mental Health is vital and it starts with ME”
