World Postal Day, National Postal Day

“Postal services strive to keep us connected with our dear ones”

Aptly said, “To write is human; to receive a letter is divine”. The Universal Postal Union was the start of global communication revolution. In India the first post office was established in the year 1764 and today The Indian Postal Services have been serving the nation for decades while ensuring that people in remote corners of the country are also not left alone. To commemorate World Postal Day and National Post Day, the students were engaged in various activities.  Class 1 students were sensitized about the daily routine working of the Postal Department of the country. They also wrote a postcard to their loved ones and posted the same. Class 2 students enhanced their knowledge about the different products of the postal department like stamps, inland letters, postcards, etc. They also created a postcard and wrote a letter to their friend.
