YOG SADHANA WEEK CELEBRATED AT BBIS

“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.”

Yoga is a light which once lit will never dim, and is also the most effective means of keeping people physically and mentally fit. Students of class V dedicated a whole week to celebrate the gift of yoga which began with virtual special assembly on Yog Sadhna.  Day-wise class activities were planned and appropriately executed, details of which are:

Day 1 – Yog Kare Sahyog Rakhe Sabhi Ko Nirog

The essence of Yoga was explained in the assembly, students also showed attractive presentations made by them on the benefits of yoga. The astounding aasans performed by the students were worth appreciation.

Day 6 – The Yoga Talk Show

The Yoga Talk Show was conducted as the part of grand finale to the most spectacular and insightful week long celebrations wherein class V parents were virtually invited. Vice Principal, Ms Jaspreet Kaur and Coordinator, Ms Babita Srivastava, were the special guest on the show. Ms. Bhawna Verma and Mr. Naushad, our in-house Yoga experts answered the queries of the parents related to various Yogasanas that can help to cure common ailments like diabetes, back pain, stomachache and also how the children can concentrate more in studies with the help of meditational yoga.

In the end it would be apt to quote, “We all wish for world peace, but world peace will never be achieved unless we first establish peace within our own minds and YOGA is the answer to this.”
