Maithili Thakur

An Indian playback singer trained in Indian classical music and folk music. She has sung original songs, covers, and traditional folk music in many regional languages. She has been interested in learning singing since childhood. She began learning music from her grandfather when she was only 4 years old.

In 2011, she appeared in Little Champs, a singing competition. Four years later, she contested in Indian Idol Junior. She won the “I Genius Young Singing Star” competition in 2016, following which she launched her album, Ya Rabba.

She was a contestant in season 1 of Rising Star, a television singing competition. Maithili was the first finalist of the show, singing Om Namah Shivaya which gained her direct entry into the final. She was runner-up, losing out by just two votes.

Maithili has been awarded Atal Mithila Samman by the Government of India.

She was awarded the Cultural Ambassador of the Year Award by the Prime Minister of India at the inaugural National Creators Award on 8 March 2024.

YASH DHULL

Born and raised in New Delhi, Yash started playing cricket at the age of 11
He has led the Delhi Under-14 and Under-16 cricket teams.
In December 2021, Yash Dhull was named as the captain of India’s team for the 2022 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in the West Indies.
In the Super League semi-final match against Australia, he scored 110 runs, with India progressing to the final of the tournament.[9] Following the conclusion of the tournament, Dhull was named as the captain of the International Cricket Council‘s (ICC) team of the tournament.
Played under-19 cricket for Delhi and made his first-class debut against Tamil Nadu in the Ranji Trophy.
Before making his senior debut, he was bought by Delhi Capitals in the 2022 IPL auction ahead of the 2022 Indian Premier League.
Dhull finished the 2021–22 Ranji Trophy as Delhi’s highest run scorer, scoring a total of 479 runs at an average of 119.75
He made his Twenty20 debut for Delhi against Manipur, in the 2022–23 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
He made his List A debut for Delhi against Vidarbha, in the 2022–23 Vijay Hazare Trophy.
He scored his first List A century for India A against United Arab Emirates A, in 2023 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup, at Singhalese Sports Club Cricket Ground, Colombo.
In 2022 The Election Commission of India (ECI) appointed him as the state icon for the national Capital, to promote the voter awareness among the youth of Delhi.

left-handed top order batsman and wicket-keeper.
He made his first-class debut for Delhi in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy and his Twenty20 debut for Delhi in the 2018–19 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
He made his List A debut, for Delhi in the 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy.
In the 2020 IPL auction, he was bought by the Rajasthan Royals ahead of the 2020 Indian Premier League. In February 2022, he was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2022 Indian Premier League.
