The Junior Wing of Bal Bhavan International School celebrated Friendship Day with great zeal and excitement. A special assembly was presented by the students of Class IV on 2th August 2019 to mark the occasion. The event commenced with the morning prayer song followed by a beautiful poem. This was followed by a heart touching Hindi song which touched the emotional chord of one and all present there. The Assembly concluded with a dance performance by the students which gave an insight into the lovely feelings embedded deep inside their hearts. Overall the assembly was presented well and was also applauded by Everyone .
It is rightly said that the friendship that blossoms in the tender years of pre-primary plays an important part in the lives of children. It’s a life-long bond. So to add more to this occasion, our tiny tots also celebrated the day in their own way. They brought friendship band for their friends and were excited to tie them. They went home not only with bands on their wrist but also with a big smile on their face. On the other hand, students of class I had an exciting class room activity where they made a beautiful butterfly craft with their hand prints stating “You Make My Heart Flutter”. The activity was further enriched by a story telling session conducted by their teachers the moral of which was “A friend in need is a friend indeed”.
