Visit to Religious Places

Prayer is  not a "spare wheel"

that you pull out when in trouble.

But it is a "steering wheel"

that directs the right path throughout.

Experience is the teacher of all things and Prayer is the most powerful weapon against trials. How nice it is to start a day with a spiritual offering. Keeping this benign spirit in mind and for the experience of power of prayer, little kiddos of Bal Bhavan International School and kindergarten were taken to the religious places on November 19, 2018. The children were really excited for this field trip since this experience was altogether new for them.

They were taken to Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Ji where they cleaned their feet entrance and covered their heads with rumaal before entering. After the darshan of Guru Granth Sahib Ji, and blessings, Kids were given karha prasaad and were taken to have langar. They were told the significance of langar as they believe in humanity and equality is above all caste, creed and religions. Kids were satiated with the delicious langar. The second visit was Sri Sri Rukmini Dwarkadhish temple which is also known as Iskon temple. There they had offered their prayers by chanting and tapping their beat to the melodious bhajan “hare rama hare krishna” and were enlightened with some mythological facts. The kids were given charanamrit as prasaad as well. They were blessed by panditji by placing the mukut on their heads. The calm and serene atmosphere of these religious places filled them up with a renewed energy. This was a complete wonderful experience with the understanding of religions and spiritual awakening.
