Yoga is a mind-body practice and it’s helpful to give your mind something to focus on. An inter house online yoga competition was conducted for students of classes VI to IX, wherein each of the four houses nominated two participants to show exemplary yoga asanas. Performing students were not just required to do the asana but also had to speak a few lines about the same. Criteria for the competition were:- the type and difficulty level of the asana being performed and also body’s agility while doing it, overall presentation and student’s knowledge about the relevance of the asana. The competition was judged by Yoga Maestros, Md. Naushad and Ms. Shikha Ahuja and the results were: Shambhavi of class VIII from Liberty House secured first position, Vaibhavi Gupta of class VII from Harmony House got second position; Ujjwal Gupta and Bhumika Juyal of class VIII, from Vision House and Peace House respectively, got third position. Vice Principal, Ms Jaspreet Kaur and Coordinator, Ms Sandhya Tiwari addressed the viewers talking about significance and benefits of Yoga in life. They also appreciated the efforts of Yoga disciples and extended their applauds to all the participants for showing a self-discipline way of life!
